Clam Soup

Today was fresh market day and after a long time i decided to go marketing instead of sending my YAYA. Not that i hate to do marketing but yeah a bit lazy especially if i have to go alone.

Just as i entered the fish section, I could see a variety of fish swimming but to my dismay hardly a few that i knew processing. As i was wondering what to buy i saw some1 smiling and there i knew what i had to buy today.

Can You guess? Rightly said-” The happy and contented clam”. It has been suggested that open clams give the appearance of smiling.

The famous expression that we use on a daily basis , “As happy as a clam at high”.

 

INGREDIENTS

 

1. 2 Tablespoon

2. 2 Tablespoon

3. 1 Onion

4. Clams

5. Stalk of Lemon grass (the lower 3 inch)

6.Salt.

 

DIRECTIONS

1. Fry ginger ,garlic and onions until transparent.

2.Add Clams and cook till the shell opens.

3.Add 1 1/2 cup of water,salt and lemon grass and let it simmer for 5 mins.

 

Serve Hot.
