Chicken satay is typically an Indonesian Dish and its all time favorite .I Learnt this recipe from Hubby .
In Indonesia, satay can be obtained from a travelling satay vendor, from a street-side tent-restaurant, in an upper-class restaurant, or during traditional celebration feasts. In Malaysia, satay is a popular dish – especially during celebrations – and can be found throughout the country. Close analogues are yakitori from Japan, shish kebab from Turkey, chuanr from China and sosatie from South Africa.
Turmeric is a compulsory ingredient used to marinate satay, which gives the dish its characteristic yellow color.
INGREDIENTS
1.Coriander Seeds (2 tablespoon)
2.Turmeric powder (1 tablespoon)
3.Salt (1 tablespoon)
4.Cumin powder.
5.Vinegar (2 tablespoon)
6.Soya Sauce (2 tablespoon)
7.Spring Onions
8.250 gm Breast Fillet (cut into bite able size).
DIRECTIONS
1. Make a paste of all the above ingredients except chicken 🙂 .
2. Marinate the chicken for 12 hours.
3 In a frying pan ,put little oil and fry the marinated chicken.
Serve in Bamboo Skewers with Peanut Sauce.

Looking delicious I must say 🙂 The ingredients are very similar to how I fry chicken .. except the spring onion which will definitely give a nice sweet taste to it !
